The situation

A church-network sponsor wanted to fund students in a way that did not depend on a single decision-maker on either side. They wanted accountability without intrusion, and recognition without spectacle.

What we did together

HHCWC matched the sponsor with three working-learner students. Annual updates were sent in writing with the students' consent. The sponsor visited campus once per cycle. Recognition was named on the donor and benefactor page only as the sponsor permitted.

How it played out

Three students entered across two intakes. Working-learner IGPs (bakery, agriculture, training) supplemented scholarship funds. All three graduated. Two were hired by HHCWC as junior faculty within a year of conferment.

In their words

A six-year sponsorship cycle outperformed a series of one-year gifts on every measure that mattered, including the sponsor's sense of confidence in the work. The sponsor renewed without prompting.
